Then the rainstorm came over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time threw a prayer to me
And all around me became still

A trout-colored wind blows
through my eyes, through my fingers,
and I remember how the trout
used to hide from the dinosaurs
when they came to drink at the river.
The trout hid in subways, castles,
and automobiles. They waited patiently for the dinosaurs to go away.

نسیمی از قزل آلای رنگی می وزه
از میون چشمام، از بین انگشتام
و یادم میآد چطوری قزل آلاها
از دایناسورها قایم می شدن
وقتی اونا واسه آب خوردن می اومدن لب رودخونه.
قزل آلاها توی راههای زیرزمینی، قلعه ها، و اتومبیل ها قایم می شدن.
اونا صبورانه صبر می کردن تا دایناسورها راهشونو بگیرن و برن.
